Essence drug development consulting

Essence services are provided by Dr Suhail Nurbhai MB ChB MRCP(UK).

Dr Nurbhai qualified in Medicine from the University of Dundee Medical School and completed his postgraduate medical training at Hope Hospital in the University of Manchester. 

He worked as a physician in the UK NHS before joining Pfizer Clinical Development, initially at European HQ in Sandwich in England, and then at Global R&D HQ in Connecticut, USA. He has held Senior Management posts in major multinational organisations (Pfizer, Takeda, Shionogi) in both UK and USA, and C-Suite posts in multiple start-up and biotech organisations in USA and UK in a career spanning more than 30 years and multiple therapeutic areas. He has been a major contributor to multiple successful IND / CTA and NDA / MAA submissions and approvals.

His broad and varied experience enables him to provide critical support across the range of imperatives facing life science organisations.
